Victorian Home, Lg Rooms, Qn Bd, 2 Bks Bus & Muni

Comfortable, residential area, Positive: Page Street Stays, is a few rooms in a spacious apartment in the Hayes District of SF. It is upstairs, the street is traditionally SF victorian houses (the famous Painted Ladies are only a couple of blocks away). The view from the kitchen at the back is amazing, overlooking Hayes, Castro, the Twin Peaks. My room was comfortable and well furnished with some antiques and collectables that you would never find in a hotel, so made it feel like staying in a friends house. The area is great, just one block up from some shops and restaurants on Haight St, and a short walk to the trendy shops on Hayes. There is also the No7 bus trundling along Haight that goes all the way downtown. Jeffrey was helpful and welcoming. Really useful to be able to use the fridge in the kitchen. It was also very quiet. Negative: Not much really - all good.
